WHO WE ARE

Inspired April 2018, birthed July 2018 by visionary Tina Claybon Carter.  SHE’S THAT CHICK is a SHEspirational  501(c)(3) network of support and resources created to help women dreamers achieve their goal of becoming business owners and entrepreneurs.  The foundation of the organization is established on Kingdom principles found in Matthew 25:15 which speaks about the talents.  We believe that everyone has been given a talent/gift and SHE’S THAT CHICK is committed to helping women realize that gift to its maximum potential — influencing women, our families, homes, communities, churches and the nation for His Kingdom.

Our model is to build it one business at a time by identifying women who are goal oriented, ardent and willing to put in the work to become.  SHE’S THAT CHICK will provide the human resources, tools, guidance, and financial support to help kick-start the business.  We will endeavor to sustain the business in the infancy stage by providing our network of care.  Our CHICKS will engage in the business through support of the service or goods for the first year.  Once the year is up each recipient is encouraged to give back by helping to support other SHE’S THAT CHICK future women business owners.

TINA CLAYBON CARTER

VISIONARY/CEO


Tina Claybon Carter, is a native of San Francisco.  Professionally she is a certified meeting planner with 15+ years in the sales and marketing arena where her primary focus was the management and development of events, channel marketing programs, promotions, office/project management, product packaging, collateral development, advertisement, and more.

Known as the “the percolator,” she listens and digests information and allows the brewing of her creative process to bring the concept from vision to reality.  Tina has the qualities of a successful event planner: thorough yet precise, expert knowledge, ingenuity in identifying and solving problems, communicative, and responsive to her clients. She maintains a big picture philosophy with a focus on the goals and critical eye on the details.

Tina’s career has spanned over several industries including entertainment, technology, education and healthcare helping to develop marketing and event programs. Using her arsenal of creative skills Tina leveraged her years of experience to launch her business in 2009, A Pure Love Affair Event Management, focusing on customize events with a unique flair.  And since music has always been a part of her life she has expanded her offerings to incorporate artist management.

Tina holds a bachelor’s degree in Business from University of Phoenix and certification in meeting planning. Married over 25 years, she enjoys writing Gospel theatrical productions, developing signature events, and communicating with others to helps them realize their dreams.

CHERYL FOSTER

COO

Cheryl Foster is a proud wife, mother of a former standout UCLA and NFL running back (DeShaun) and NCAA Division I basketball player (Chanel), community leader, and an entrepreneur. Her commitments to advocacy for athletes and their families began over 30 years ago when her children participated in little league sports.  Since this time, Mrs. Foster has utilized her leadership, program development, marketing, philanthropic, and public speaking talents to assist diverse populations at the community, education, and professional sports levels. Cheryl is one of the founders of The John Wooten Award, BOSS (Business of Sports Summit) and is actively involved with communities across the United States through the Foster Foundation, The Legacy Leadership Program, Re-Direction and other organizations.

Through her family foundation, Cheryl and the Foster family advances educational opportunities (e.g. providing scholarships and resources) for youth in underserved communities, host football camps for special needs children and support other organizations conducting charitable activities (e.g. athletic and academic programs).

As a member of the Legacy Leadership Project executive team, Cheryl helps Pro Football Hall of Fame members (as well as other former collegiate and professional athletes and coaches) develop one-to-one mentoring relationships with high school football players in order to help the young student athletes make positive life choices.

Through her Sports Mom Parenting Boot Camp, Mrs. Foster continues to host workshops and events for incoming NFL players, parents/guardians of professional football players as well as student athletes and their families in K-12 and higher education settings, fundraising for organizations such as Second Harvest Food Bank through the NFL Tackling Hunger Program and serving on various programmatic and award selection committees.

In addition, Cheryl works with various educational and non-profit organizations throughout the U.S. (especially in California) to provide programs for parents and their children to learn and discuss valuable life, academic, financial, athletic and professional skillsets that are necessary to be successful both in and out of the sports arena. SYBIL SLOAN

CFO

Sybil M. Sloan was born in North Carolina. Sybil has completed two undergraduate degrees at Campbell University. Sybil is a December 2018, Juris Doctorate Candidate at Faulkner Law School in Montgomery, Alabama. Sybil owns Sloan’s Consulting Insurance and Financial Services, and Snappy Taxes. She has more than 20 years in Taxation and has owned her own company for over 18 years. Sybil has a niche market for taxation in the Music Industry and Non-Profits.

After years of servicing National and Independent Artists she has made a determination to spread the knowledge necessary to be successful in the business of music. Sybil currently serves on several National Boards, The Alliance of Gospel Music Professionals, The GMWA Quartet Division, and NC Gospel Announcers Guild. Sybil also currently serves as the President of Central Alabama Alliance of Gospel Music Professionals. Breaking Through your NOW is her Television Show that airs in the Raleigh, NC market for CW22 and weekly in the Montgomery, AL market. Sybil aka “The Worshiper” is the Sunday Morning Radio personality for Praise 96.5 FM, which airs 0600-0900 CST. Sybil will be launching her new Show “The Indie Encounter “on internet radio soon. She is also the Host for the Nationally acclaimed, Let’s Talk Gospel weekly conference call. Her Book “Holding on and Letting Go” can be found on Amazon and Barnes and Nobles online.
